Thermage Overview

Thermage is a safe, clinically proven way to tighten and contour skin, with improvements in tone, contour, and texture occurring naturally through the stimulation of your own collagen. Thermage is completely non-invasive-no surgery, no injections. A single treatment tightens your existing collagen and stimulates new collagen growth. Improvements are both immediately visible and continue up to six months. The results can last for years.

Cosmetic Laser Studio founder and director, Dr. Dee Carter explains, "Thermage is not brand new. The exciting difference is the new treatment algorithms that have been recently developed that are resulting in significantly improved results for patients. The best candidates for Thermage are women in our area who are between a chemical peel and a full-blown face lift. Thermage achieves very good skin tone improvement in a lower cost and less invasive therapy compared to plastic surgery."

Unlike some lasers, Thermage works on all skin types and tones. And unlike injections or fillers, Thermage works on your entire face - forehead, eyes, nasolabial folds, jaw line, jowls and the area under your chin.

If you no longer recognize the face looking back at you in the mirror, it's time to talk to certified Thermage physician Dr. Carter and learn how Thermage can help you look as young as you feel.

Laser Vein Treatments

Cosmetic Laser Studio's Fotona Nd:Yag laser has a wavelength of 1064 nanometers. This wavelength targets hemoglobin or blood. Each vessel is traced with pulses of laser light. As the energy is absorbed by the blood in the vessel, heat is created and the vessel wall is destroyed. The vein will die and the body will clear away the tissue as it would clear away a bruise. Treatments with Cosmetic Laser Studio's Fontona Nd:Yag laser require no anesthetics and no downtime, with very low risk of side effects. People with all skin colors can be safely treated.

Most people wonder how long will it take for their veins to disappear.
We have found that each client's body will have its own time schedule for how quickly veins will be reabsorbed. This could range from days to weeks and possibly months.
